唐布拉草原位于伊犁尼勒克县境内，是喀什河上游峡谷草原景观的统称，得名于唐布拉大峡谷。因为其山谷东侧山梁上有块硕大无比的岩石，恰似玉玺印章，故得名唐布拉（哈萨克语意为印章）。位于乔尔玛-唐布拉大峡谷，距县城东南91公里，东接独山子-库车公路。 据说唐布拉有113条沟、113个景，哈萨克阿肯（民间诗人）可即兴唱出每条山谷的奇观。
唐布拉草原得名于阿吾拉勒山北坡唐布拉沟东侧有几处突兀的岩石，因岩石酷似玉玺、印章而得名。唐布拉草原意即“印章”。唐布拉草原景点众多，据说有113条沟，每条沟都有各自的特色。流泉瀑、溪水淙淙；奇特的阿尔斯郎石林，壮观的草原落日；
The Tangbula Grasslands are situated in the eastern Nilka county, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Meaning “seals” in Kazak, the grasslands are named after the rocks on the northern slope of the nearby Awulale Mountain, which highly resemble the shapes of seals and signets.
